Our Floss picks have a Polyethylene tread coated in plant-based wax. We choose to use Polyethylene as no alternative material meets our requirements on quality and performance, while also being vegan and cruelty-free. As soon as we find a natural material that has similar properties to Polyethylene, we'll be the first to make the switch!

We recommend checking with your local recycling facility to see if there’s a recycling solution in place for PLA/PP mixed material, or dispose of your floss picks alongside regular household waste.

In most countries, the bag can be recycled as paper. The plastic lining and sealer will be separated from the paper in the recycling process. If you are unsure, we recommend checking with your local recycling facility if they have a solution for mixed materials.

The handle is made of a mix of plant-based materials (using cornstarch as the main ingredient) and polypropylene (PP). The thread is made of nylon, coated with natural plant-based wax.

We have floss picks with single and double thread, and grip floss picks.

Yes, simply rinse the floss pick after use and store in a dry place between usage, just as with your toothbrush.
