With the release of The Humble Co.’s new website, Humble also announced a number of new oral health products as part of the growing wellness line. To further keep your teeth clean and healthy, The Humble Co. has announced environmentally conscious dental floss!
Making flossing part of your daily routine can make your teeth look brighter by cleaning up areas that your toothbrush cannot reach. Flossing also not only removes plaque but ultimately prevents tartar buildup, tooth decay, and gum disease. Humble floss is also strong and durable with either mint, lemon or cinnamon flavoring as well as xylitol, to ensure that your flossing experience is as efficient, pleasant and effective as possible. Furthermore, a portion of every purchase goes towards funding oral care projects for children in need, all over the world.
In addition to the many health benefits, Humble floss packaging is also better for the Earth than traditional floss dispensers. Currently, as many as 700 million floss containers are discarded each year in the world’s oceans and landfills. To limit the consumption of single-use plastics, The Humble Co. eliminated the need for a plastic case for floss, as the recyclable paper cardboard packaging itself transforms into the floss dispenser.
Also, instead of coating the floss in the traditional gelatin or PFC – perfluorinated compound polymer – Humble dental floss is coated in natural candelilla wax, making the floss 100% vegan and cruelty-free as gelatin is derived from various animal body parts. PFCs are also known to be dangerous as they are notorious chemical contaminants that have been linked to thyroid disease and can harm the environment when thrown into our oceans and landfills
The Humble Co. was founded in 2013 by Swedish dentist Noel Abdayem. Through the success of Humble Brush, the company has grown into a global community, passionately pursuing its vision. The Humble Co.’s products are developed to reduce our environmental impact and can be found in over 30,000 retail locations across the globe.
‘Can we change our ways of production and consumption? Can we help provide oral care products to those that need it most? The answer is yes!’ – Noel Abdayem, Founder & CEO, The Humble Co.
